Manitoba Public Insurance Daycare

Located in downtown Winnipeg, the Manitoba Public Insurance daycare facility was created using a very distinctive design. The renovation involved the transformation of an existing third floor parkade area and building a new 102 space child daycare in its place. Also included in the design was the construction of a roof-top outdoor play area which was created on the adjacent second floor roof. A play hill structure was made out of rigid insulation and a uniquely designed aluminum fence was created for child safety. Bockstael Construction completed this project applying their sustainable/recycle/reuse philosophy which earned the project a Three Green Globe Award.
