Originally established in the late 1800’s, the St. Norbert Trappist Monastery was vacated in 1978 and gutted by fire five years later. To protect the site from further deterioration, Bockstael Construction was contracted to demolish the damaged portions of the structure, improve site drainage and install electrical service for site lighting. An important piece of history has now been preserved for future generations.
