St. Boniface Cathedral
Phase 1: The historic St. Boniface Cathedral has made some significant improvements and Bockstael Construction has been their contractor of choice. The renovations include a new copper roof, increased insulation, and a new altar window. The upgrades have eliminated water leaks and increased building energy performance. A portion of the original church roof, built in 1908, was reinforced to repair rot and fire damage. Future work is planned for the interior spaces.
Phase 2: This phase was a renovation to the existing basement level. the scope of work included selective demolition, structural reinforcing and additional fireproofing measures to the existing floor separation. Major mechanical/electrical revisions to the cooling system for the building, full renovation to the basement finishes was in the scope which included the installation of a prep kitchen, operable partitions and a new office areas for the Cathedrale.
