Falcon Lake Golf Course Clubhouse
Bockstael was selected as the Construction Manager for Falcon Lake based on excellent previous experiences overseeing both the Tuxedo Golf Course and Links at the Lake clubhouses for Lakeland Golf Management. This project involved the demolition of the existing proshop and restaurant structures and the new construction of a 5,180 square foot combined proshop and restaurant building.
The architecturally striking structure implemented a combination of exposed glue laminated timber framing and conventional wood framing, along with a glass and masonry veneer building envelope. Features include high ceilings with exposed timber framing and acoustic treatments; a full-service commercial kitchen with full cooking line, walk-in cooler/freezer, and dishwashing area; a custom millwork bar and coffee station; a proshop with excellent views of the first tee, a custom service counter, and display racks and slat walls for retail merchandise; along with washrooms and additional storage spaces.
The project was completed on schedule and with minimal changes, well within the construction contingency.
