Bockstael Construction teamed up with David Penner Architect and the Pembina Trails School Division to add a new gymnasium to Ecole St. Avila and renovate over 6,000 square feet of the existing school to accommodate a modern lunch room for staff. A key feature of the new addition was enhancement of the exterior brick veneer with glass blocks representing fire coming from the mouth of the school’s dragon mascot.
