Victoria General Hospital – Gamma Camera Redevelopment

The Victoria General Hospital is a 203-bed acute care facility located in south Winnipeg. The installation of a dual-head gamma camera is part of the hospital’s ongoing mission of providing a “modern and technologically-appropriate environment”. Bockstael Construction was contracted to assist the hospital in accommodating the massive new equipment and its ancillary needs. In preparation for its installation in the building, the removal and reconfiguration of several interior walls was required. The project also involved extensive structural and mechanical modifications.
