Maples Collegiate Student Commons

Maples Collegiate is part of the Seven Oaks School Division and houses students from grades 9 to 12. Originally build in 1980, the Collegiate was in need of changes in order to meet the needs of students in the 21st century. A new student commons now provides a bright, open space for dining, gatherings, performances and presentations. The addition features a second-storey walkway and balcony, a 500-seat cafeteria, a large stage and ample storage areas. Outdoor improvements also include a park with several seating areas and a plaza with wide promenades, a bicycle station, plenty of trees for shade, and patches of tall prairie grasses native to Manitoba.
