River City Auto Body

Bockstael Construction was selected to build the new 15,500 square foot automotive body shop and frame repair facility for the River City Ford car dealership. This modern facility includes a conventional steel frame, insulated metal panel wall system, and curtain wall façade facing Portage Avenue. A mezzanine with office and storage space, serviced by a materials lift, is also included, along with a paint booth and customer service area. This project implemented the Lean Last Planner System from start to finish, providing high visibility of schedule, detailed tracking, and early warnings for coordination requirements relating to owner supplied equipment such as the paint booth.
