Bockstael Construction is pleased to announce Carmine Militano has assumed the role of CEO of Bockstael Construction as of January 1, 2024. Carmine recently celebrated his tenth anniversary at Bockstael and previously served as President, Senior Vice-President, and Principal of the 112-year-old company.
Former CEO John Bockstael has stepped into the new role of Chair where he will continue to represent the organization and provide advisory support.
Militano is thrilled to announce that Nick Bockstael and Dan Bockstael have transitioned into his former role as Co-Presidents.
“I am confident in the abilities of Nick and Dan,” says Militano, “and I want to say thank you to the generations that preceded John who led the company through two World Wars; the Great Depression; two global pandemics, and all the ups and downs in between.”
Militano also expresses his gratitude to third generation owners, David and Larry Bockstael, who together with John expanded the organization’s capacity and built upon their commitment to customer service through trust, honesty, artisanship and quality.
“A special thanks to John, who over the last ten years has led us through this period of growth and most importantly, in capabilities”, states Militano.
As Co-Presidents, Nick Bockstael and Dan Bockstael will use their distinct and complementary skillsets to focus on growth through operational excellence, innovation, and an exceptional client experience. They are both recognized industry leaders and will ensure Bockstael continues to deliver personalized and professional construction management services to our clients at scale.
They also welcome Sarah Anderson into the ownership group. Sarah is part of the fourth generation of family leadership and has been with Bockstael Construction since 2020. Sarah holds the role of Director of Talent Management and Business Development Manager. She has a background in marketing, economic development, and real estate development.
