When Emterra Environmental was awarded the recycling and garbage collection contract for the City of Winnipeg, Bockstael Construction was hired to build a 12,000 square foot tipping floor for their recycling plant. The building features a 17 foot high push wall for product storage, as well as a large loading and conveyor system that transfers the product to the existing process plant.
The City gave a tight deadline to have the facility operational. The owner took occupancy before construction was finished adding to the challenge. Bockstael Construction used all resources possible to work with the Owner’s unique circumstances and completed the job on schedule.
